THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GAS HYDRATES WAS HELD IN VANCOUVER BC, CANADA, JULY 6-10, 2008 WITH A RECORD OF 526 PARTICIPANTS. A RECORD 417 MANUSCRIPTS WERE PRESENTED IN THE ORAL AND POSTER SESSIONS.

The first International Conference on Gas Hydrates (ICGH) took place in New Paltz, New York (US) in 1993. The conference has taken place in Toulouse (France) in 1996, Salt Lake City (US) in 1999, Yokohama (Japan) in 2002 and Trondheim (Norway) in 2005.
THE NEXT CONFERENCE WILL TAKE PLACE IN EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND IN 2011.
