7th International Conference on Gas Hydrates

The Seventh International Conference on Gas Hydrates (ICGH7) was held on the 17th to 21st July 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The conference brought together over 600 delegates from across the globe, with some 100 oral and 500 poster presentations over the course of the 4 day event covering all aspects of gas hydrates, from flow assurance to global climate change.

The ICGH7 local Organizing Committee thank delegates, conference sponsors, exhibitors, the International Scientific Committee, conference organisers (Meeting Makers) and the EICC venue staff, all of whom helped make the event a successful and enjoyable experience for all.

ICGH was first held in New Paltz, New York (1993), followed by Toulouse (1996), Salt Lake City (1999), Yokohama (2002), Trondheim (2005) and then Vancouver (2008), before coming to Edinburgh.

The Eigth International Conference on Gas Hydrates (ICGH8) will be held in Beijing, China in the summer of 2014.
